Pathway2Progress is a mission-driven partnership built around growth, opportunity, and real second chances for people working to elevate their lives. Led by principal founder Sean McClay, co-founder and social entrepreneur Marcus Weaver, and operations leader Jeffrey Legins, the organization blends mentorship, mindset development, and skill-building with a practical, results-focused approach to helping individuals break through barriers and step into their potential. With Sean’s firsthand experience building multiple businesses from the startup stage, Pathway2Progress is grounded in the discipline it takes to create something meaningful, paired with a genuine passion for celebrating progress and empowering others to succeed.
Co-founder Marcus brings a powerful mix of lived experience and proven community impact, having helped more than 500 individuals transition from incarceration, homelessness, and trauma into stable housing and meaningful employment through his leadership at Lower the Barrier Colorado, with a recidivism rate of less than 1%, as well as his work as founder of The People’s Pickles and author of Chosen to Forgive. Strengthening the team’s structure and long-term vision, Jeffrey contributes nearly four decades of faith-rooted service through Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, along with deep expertise in project management, operations, and advocacy through roles including co-founder of Pathways to Progress Workforce Housing, board service with Lower the Barrier, and membership on Colorado’s Member Experience Advisory Council (MEAC). Together, they are building clear pathways for people to move beyond survival and into stability, purpose, and lasting success, through dignity, accountability, community connection, and opportunity.

The Freedom Housing homes adhere to the Vanderburgh Sober Living (VSL) House Rules, ensuring consistency in structure, accountability, and support across all our recovery homes. These rules are designed to foster a respectful and recovery-focused environment for all guests.
Individual homes may establish additional guidelines or requirements tailored to their unique needs or circumstances. Specific house rules may address factors such as curfews, visitor policies, or additional recovery-focused activities. These adjustments ensure each home operates in a way that best supports its guests while maintaining the shared mission of recovery and empowerment.
Guests are expected to review and agree to the house rules upon admission and during orientation. Any questions or clarifications regarding the rules or specific home requirements can be directed to the house mentor or leadership team.
Our shared commitment to these principles ensures a supportive environment where individuals can rebuild their lives and achieve lasting recovery.
