New Found Life Recovery Housing in Rhode Island

New Found Life Recovery Housing provides nurturing, structured sober living for women in recovery in a calm, secure neighborhood. Our homes are intentionally smaller and community-centered, designed to feel fresh, welcoming, and grounded in routine, so residents can build trust, strengthen accountability, and stay connected to the recovery community. With close proximity to AA meetings and local resources, we support women at critical stages of recovery as they rebuild stability, confidence, and the life skills needed for independent living.

Mission & Vision

Our mission is to provide women in recovery a safe, structured, and supportive home environment where sustained sobriety, personal growth, and independent living can take root. We serve women in vulnerable stages of early recovery by offering housing that prioritizes accountability, peer support, and trust-building, supported by clear guidelines and hands-on leadership from an operator with lived recovery experience.

Vision:
Our vision is to strengthen recovery outcomes while contributing to safer neighborhoods and a more connected community. By staying actively involved at the local level and leading with compassion, structure, and experience, we aim to create lasting impact, helping women not only sustain recovery, but grow into empowered, stable, and contributing members of society.

New Found Life Recovery Housing Home Leadership

New Found Life Recovery Housing is led by Ronald Plouffe who brings lived recovery experience and remains actively involved in the day-to-day support of the home. Residents benefit from leadership that understands the realities of early recovery firsthand, balancing structure with encouragement, and accountability with compassion.

In addition to Ronald Plouffe, the leadership team includes two key team members who support consistent operations and resident success:

  • House Manager, Liza: Liza brings strong commitment to sobriety, professionalism, and structure. She is firm yet compassionate, helping residents stay accountable while also feeling supported and safe. Liza plays a vital role in maintaining a stable, respectful, recovery-focused home environment.

  • Director, Ali: Ali supports resident engagement and oversees financial organization to ensure operations run smoothly behind the scenes. Ali also collaborates closely with Liza on intakes, incident response, and communication, helping serve as a steady liaison between residents and leadership.

Together, the team provides clear communication, consistent guidance, and hands-on support, creating a home environment where women can stabilize, grow, and move forward in recovery.

Operator Expectations & House Rules

New Found Life Recovery Housing is built on structure, consistency, and mutual responsibility. From intake onward, residents review and agree to clearly defined house rules that protect sobriety and support a respectful shared living environment. Core expectations include:

  • Sobriety & Recovery Participation: Residents commit to maintaining sobriety and actively participating in recovery activities (such as AA meetings and house-based recovery routines) to stay connected and accountable.

  • Respect, Safety, and Community Living: Residents are expected to maintain a safe and supportive environment through respectful communication, healthy boundaries, and consideration for others in the home.

  • Accountability Structure: The home uses clear structure to support accountability, including house guidelines, curfews, house meetings, and defined consequences for non-compliance, so expectations remain consistent and fair.

  • Support Through Challenges: When residents face difficulties in recovery, the home balances accountability with support, addressing concerns early, reinforcing structure, and connecting residents to appropriate recovery resources while maintaining the safety and stability of the house.
