Rockville Sober House (formerly Vernon Sober House) is sober living for men in Vernon, Connecticut, set in a restored Victorian manor in downtown Vernon, just outside Hartford. It has 22 beds, one private and 21 shared, and the third-floor rooms are closed for now. The layout includes two separate living areas, each with its own kitchen and shared space. Behind the house there is parking for about ten cars, along with free high-speed WiFi and coin-operated laundry on site.
Recovery Housing Initiative runs Rockville as a chartered Vanderburgh Sober Living home, and the House Mentor who lives there sets each approved applicant's move-in time. Saturday at 7pm is house meeting night. Everyone is in by 11pm each night, though proof of a later work shift covers a man who is still on the job. Applicants should be willing to work and be active in their recovery. Screening is random, and the Hartford area offers meetings, jobs, colleges and trade schools.

Rockville Sober House is home to twenty-two men in downtown Vernon, in a restored Victorian. The layout gives residents private living areas and shared kitchens, so the men practice running their own lives while still living alongside housemates who keep them honest. Recovery Housing Initiative operates the home, and a House Mentor lives in the house and helps new guests get started.
The house meets on Saturdays at 7 PM. Curfew is 11 PM every night, unless a guest is working late and can show his work schedule. Any guest can be tested for drugs or alcohol at random. There is plenty of parking, which helps men who drive to jobs around the Hartford area. A new guest can expect a quiet house, a clear routine and men who are serious about recovery.
